Introduction

Hello out there!

I'm new to the whole blogging world. This is my first attempt to blog about something that I am truly passionate about; learning and creativity. I have never been one to learn something by just reading a text book. I have to see it before me to understand it, or in other words I'm a visual learner. I'm creating this here blog to help myself study things that I do not understand and then eventually I may be able to help others with things that they don't understand by the use of of visual explanation and vivid notes.

Firstly I would like to tell a little about myself...

My name is Stephanie and I hail in Texas. I'm not a cowgirl. I'm an artist, a free thinker, an independent individual who strives to learn and understand all that surrounds me. I currently am enrolled in Community College and at this rate I should graduate by the end of this year, 2010, with my Associates of Arts Degree. I'm unemployed by choice, just for the summer, so that I may focus on what is important to me; my education and my family. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a freeloader. I have worked hard at my college education since entering in 2006. I've held a full time job for the past four years, been enrolled and taking classes in college and I've lived on my own for a while too, paying bills, taxes..being a upstanding young citizen. But I was given the opportunity to be job free, bill free, and rent free.. So I jumped aboard and sailed my way to my parents house. It's not where I want to be forever, it's just temporary.

Most of my posts are going to be about my Biology class that I'm currently enrolled in. I'm not majoring in Biology, and I don't want to, but I'm not looking for a "C" for my average, and using flash cards and memorizing definitions is going to lead me to a "C". I'm very interested in how Biology works, what it really means, and how I can relate to it. My goal in creating this blog is to make an "A" in a subject many college students just take to fulfill their curriculum.

  1. So since you are a "free thinker", and you're taking a biology class, I think it's necessary to identify your spiritual beliefs, if any, so that the readers and potential commentors can have a frame of reference when responding to your posts.

  2. Well I have already stated my spiritual beliefs.. and you even noticed it and made comment on it already. I'm a free thinker thats it. I'd recommend that you go to google.com and search 'define freethinker'. Then maybe you will understand where I come from when it comes to my "spirituality". Thanks for taking an interest! :)
